immunization pictureThe Immunization Program at NCHD is one of our most important public health activities. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, nearly one million children across the U.S. are not fully immunized, putting them at risk for serious illness or even death.

Vaccinations are the number one action parents can take to keep their children safe from disease. The vaccines are safe, important and effective in keeping kids healthy. In addition to individual protection, immunizations also protect communities by preventing the spread of disease.

NCHD is able to provide immunizations for children age 18 and under for $14.50 each through the federally funded Vaccine For Children program. Some adult immunizations are also available, but prices vary depending on the vaccine so please call our office closest to you for details.
